| It wasn't actually on the ride when I was cleaning it afterwards it got wet and the faceplate numbers went away but other than that it worked fine so I took it out and brought it in the house to dry then when I took it back out and hooked it back up it would not work......
I should have had the marine cover before, lesson learned....

| Got out today and took a few Pictures in our little snow. I wish I had had a camera man to get some shoots when I was cutting donuts on the frozen creek, but there is always tomorrow. Its not been above 30 in several days and they are not giving anything above 30 till next Tuesday.

- skid plates.
Right on. I got a full set of aluminum skids from Ricochet. I got to say I am really impressed with the fit. My undercarriage was pretty beat up and I figured I would have trouble getting everything to bolt up so Before starting I got out the old sledge and make some modifications to my stock undercarriage. Then when I went to bolting everything up I was surprised it went so smoothly. I got the floorboard skids, the main belly skid, the front skid, the rear skid, the rear diff skid, and a set of a-arm guards. Everything went together without me having to modify anything (other than drilling a few mounting holes). The undercarriage looks so smooth now I "Almost" hate to take it back in the woods.....lol Here is a few pictures. I didn't get any undercarriage pictures but I will get some later and post. Front Before After Rear Before After Here is a picture of the belly side skids, Here is a picture of the belly and rear skids,

| Got some HID factory replacement lights from SidexSide Customs today. Waited till late to install them so I could get some good comparison shoots of the stokers and the new lights but it didn't go as planned. The pictures didn't turn out so well..... After installing them and riding it down the road All I can say is the fog lights are nothing but bumper ornaments now, these new 35 watt HID lights are so bright you can't even hardly tell if you turn the 55 watt fog lights on.... Something else about these lights is they plug into the factory wiring harness so you still have high and low beams and they still work off the factory switch. Here is a shot of the stockers Here is a shoot of the HID's in the same location. Here is a shot of the complete kit. This is the kit installed | |

| Thanks peps,
I didn't get to really try them out last night (raining) but as soon as I can I plan on doing some night riding to really see the difference on the trails. No more then I rode it last night I know it will be a huge difference.
Right now I just have everything zip tied to the plate, I plan on pulling it back apart and velcroing everything together then adding the zip-ties for extra security.

Heaters are awesome this time of year.... I got a lil (20,000 btu I think) ready heater I bought it several years ago for 20$ and it has proven to be an excellent investment. My garage is a 20x30 with 10 foot clearance and it heats it fine. It takes it a little while to get up to 70 but when I'm working I don't need it that warm anyway. I put my winch relay right next to the battery box I didn't want that long of a hot wire just in case. Which I mounted my winch a ling time ago.... Heres a picture of mine.

| A few months ago I tried a lift kit designed by Rubber Down Customs which did not work for me due to the extreme angles in the front and the axle hitting frame at full shock extention in the rear.
Upon taking measurements when installing this kit I found my Rhino set nearly two inches lower in the front. I then knew why my front skid took so much abuse. I mentioned to Paul that I felt a front leveling kit with approximately 1.5 inches of lift for the Rhino would be an excellent up grade over stock and would not provide the extreme angles of the current setup for the front.
I spoke with Paul yesterday and he said he had made the lift but had not tested it so he will be sending it to me to test. I am hoping to receive this kit this week so I can try it out.

Will do I am hoping he got it shipped today..... On another subject I got out and took a few pictures of the skids today. On another note I always knew my 26 inch tires rubbed.... I wanted to get better/higher shots but it was hard getting in and out so this will have to do till I can get a camera man...

The mount mounts with 4 large bolts to the mounting points welded to the bumper. here are a few pictures. Here is a picture of the mount and fairlead. This is with the fairlead disassembled, I disassembled it to grease the rollers before mounting. Here are a few pictures mounted.
