2013 rzr xp noise

I hear a whining/humming sound when going slow on trails mainly going uphill or on a slight incline. If i punch it it will go away or if i put it in low its not as bad. Thinking it may be normal. Anybody else with an xp notice this?

Had that issue and fixed it. Sold it and got a Maverick.
Could be something in the belt housing.

Yeah but now youve got the 3 legged dog issue. Ill take a whining belt over a 3 legged dog anyday.

actually my dogs works great. Ill stick with it. I dont want a shop queen.

Either way though I would check the belt housing and also underneath around the shaft area. Mine was making that noise and come to find out it was my brake pads in the front. Changed them out as well and it went away.

Yeah i guess a 3 legged dog is better than no dog at all lol. Thanks ill check it out. Its definitely not brakes. Been doing it since new i just notice it more now. Maybe nothing at all.

I know my XP makes different sounds then the S did. It may be nothing at all.

Yeah im still trying to get used to all the new sounds. Its definitely a whole different machine than the S.

I figured the RZR out when you here a noise turn the radio up if the noise gets louder turn the music on up

I used to take mine to the shop all the time 4 noises the music fixed it my 800 has the same noise that you are talking about sounds like 2nd ride out the XP started it the 800 has 4,000 miles on it still going

Yeah id like to mount a small sub somewhere just dont know where. Ive got a 400 watt amp with a 6x9 mounted in the side of the the glove box and a 6.5 inch speaker mounted in a pvc cap all ran off my ipod. Always want more sound though.
