| I am quiet sure the Yank will be able to follow us everwhere we go @ Brimstone with those skinny back tires! Not really the look I was going for but, hey, I might learn something here! Just remember, three months ago, none of us would have owned a po po! Things just keep changing in this world. Hint, Hint,,,, get your cameras ready when you see us turn onto #105. | |

Pate didn't you have that type setup at one time? We will see how well it does, no big deal we all carry tow straps

Also, did you gain any noticeable clearance or smoothness of the ride when you added shocks ?
Seems like a lot of people are running lifts now without issue Rob. From everything i've seen on the trail and read, I would never buy Gorilla axles. IMO the stock ones are stronger.
AS far as my shocks go, My initial impression was they were rougher in the slow stuff and smoother in the fast stuff. I have had them on so long now I cant remember what the stockers were like. They give you a much more controled and smoother ride when going fast over the trail. When rockcrawling or going slow they seemed to be stiffer and less forgiving than the stockers. - crossdaddy wrote:

Kit was $179. As stated above, dont seem to be any axle problems that I have seen due to lifts. I seen axles break with lifts and without them. It's mostly how you manage the gas pedal.

| How the heck did I miss this???? Very good thread Yankee.....and I enjoyed the way that you came up with another way to "Skin the Cat" by using the ratchet strap to compress spring so that you could insert said bolt!!!!! So what's the ground clearance now???? Question......white body going back on?? | |
